「年末年始 Haul」
← Back ・ 4/2/2026
Despite having the idea for this entry in my head for months, I've only just started actually typing things out! I live alone and as a result tend to spend a lot of money on myself during Christmas/New Years—the classic "treat yourself" cope. To be fair, I'm very lonely around that time of year so I consider it an important practice. It does, however, take a long time for things to arrive considering most businesses are shut for the holidays, meaning everything arrives more or less at the same time. Let's see what I got :)

Starting with the thing that's too big to fit in any compilation photos: a doujin SubaHibi poster. I hadn't heard of the circle before purchasing but was eager to get my hands on more ways to fill space on my wall and bought it on a whim. While I'm typically averse to purchasing unofficial posters, Mamiya's expression was captured so well I couldn't hold myself back.

Lots of Arknights stuff from TMall, though in hindsight I believe this to be the last time I support the Hypergrpyh monetarily due to dissatisfaction with the current state of the game. The Ave Mujica collab was ongoing at the time of purchase which is why there's some AM stuff mixed in. Mutsumi best girl!

After that...mostly random stuff I found and picked up. SayoOshi merch always catches my eye even if it's fanmade and I've kept in touch with the circle who released Nozomi & Miyuki's standees, having ordered the Mutsuki one previously. Mahiru and Koyori were produced after this haul and I (just barely!) managed to snag them. The SayoOshi shrine continues to grow, albeit at a snail's pace. I found a fun way to display my can badges, which I never bought for myself and only received as extras with other purchases until recently. Eager and impulsive, I got a few just to bling my shit out further.

Desktop accessories! I remembered that they were a fad "back in the day" when I couldn't afford them and got a handful now that I can. They're less useful in the current era with everything being so fast, technology-wise, but I enjoy installing and using the programs. My favorite of my collection is probably the Kino (heh) one. It has a rustic look with lots of flavor text and menial information! What more could you ask for?
By the way, the Atelier & CCS items were bought off Yahoo Furima after I was exposed to the commercial tens of dozens of times at my workplace. I had faith in it considering it's difficult to fuck up an online marketplace (Mandarake) but I was banned within 40 minutes of my purchase. I couldn't leave a positive review for the sellers! Apparently this is a common issue and the customer service was no help at all, so I guess I'm sticking to ol' reliable: literally anything else. The lesson here is to never step out of your comfort zone and try new things.

The pink blanket all these things were photographed on was also a somewhat recent purchase I made for my cat, that she'll have another comfortable place to sleep. I'm wondering if I should do a room tour someday...I do want to write about ways to utilize space better in otaku rooms and how to display/store xyz because other tutorials online—in both Japanese and English-speaking spaces alike—are for people who dislike clutter. I love clutter. Things don't always have to look neat and tidy, especially not in ones own room. I have a semi-serious article about that too, currently baking.
